Check a recording's proof, not our word for it
Search for an artist or a recording, or enter an ISRC if you have one. The registry answers with the CopyrightChains registration, the record hash and the Bitcoin attestation for that recording. Every line can be checked independently.

The Bitcoin timestamp establishes that the record existed in that form at that time. It does not establish authorship, ownership or creation date, and it does not by itself establish corpus vintage, which rests on the pre-2022 source datasets.
Verify independently
This result confirms a registry record and its timestamp on the Bitcoin blockchain with OpenTimestamps (OTS). To verify independently, download the canonical record and the proof, then run the standard OpenTimestamps client. The proof and explorer links are informational pointers, not endpoints owned by this service.
ots verify -f record.json proof.ots
Registered on CopyrightChains
Each recording in the registry carries a CopyrightChains transaction: a public, immutable reference to the registration record.
Timestamped on the Bitcoin blockchain
The record's hash is attested with OpenTimestamps and committed into a Bitcoin block. The block height and time are part of the answer.
Verifiable by anyone
The canonical record and the proof are public files. The standard OpenTimestamps client confirms the timestamp without trusting this service.
For AI assistants
The same registry answers assistants over the Model Context Protocol. Add the endpoint to an assistant that supports MCP servers; assistants that support MCP Apps show this verification card inside the conversation.
